The Brief:

the struggles

After operating with the same website for approximately five years, Aged Care Advocate recognised that its online presence no longer reflected the professionalism, expertise, and compassion at the heart of the business. While the existing website contained valuable information and personal imagery, it felt dated, lacked credibility, and wasn’t performing in search results. The client wanted a modern website that would build trust, communicate expertise, and position the business as a leading independent aged care advocate.

The key objectives were:

  • Transform an outdated website into a professional and trustworthy digital presence
  • Improve user experience and mobile responsiveness
  • Better communicate the value of independent aged care advocacy
  • Showcase services in a clear and engaging way
  • Improve search visibility and online discoverability
The goal

To create a website that instils trust, confidence, reassurance, and relief from the moment visitors arrive. The redesigned website needed to reflect the compassionate nature of the service while demonstrating professionalism, expertise, and authority within the aged care sector.

The Process and Outcome:

Website Strategy & User Experience

Through our discovery process, we identified that families often arrive at Aged Care Advocate during highly emotional and stressful periods. They are looking for clarity, guidance, and someone they can trust to help them navigate an overwhelming system. This insight became the foundation of the website strategy.

We restructured the website to guide users through their journey more intuitively, ensuring key information was easy to find and presented in a calm, supportive manner. The navigation was simplified, calls-to-action were strengthened, and the overall user experience was designed to reduce anxiety and encourage enquiries.

Content & Messaging

The previous website lacked the strong, professional voice the business had grown into. Working closely with the client, we refreshed the messaging to better communicate expertise while maintaining the warmth and compassion that clients value. The content now clearly explains the services offered, highlights the benefits of working with an independent advocate, and educates visitors about the complexities of the aged care system.

Visual Design

The original website felt amateur and outdated, despite having a solid structure and meaningful imagery.

We introduced a modern, professional design that retains the familiar brand colours and personal photography while elevating the overall presentation. The refreshed design creates a more polished and credible experience, helping visitors feel confident they are engaging with an experienced and trusted professional.

Building Trust Through Design

One of the key differentiators for Aged Care Advocate is its independence. Unlike many competitors, the business is not affiliated with aged care providers, allowing completely unbiased recommendations and support. We made this unique selling proposition a central focus throughout the website, reinforcing trust and transparency across multiple touchpoints.

Future Growth & Scalability

The new website was designed with future expansion in mind. The structure allows for the addition of testimonials, educational blog content, and expanded mental health support services as the business continues to grow.

The Result

The redesigned Aged Care Advocate website successfully transformed an outdated online presence into a professional, compassionate, and trustworthy platform. The new site better reflects the expertise and personalised support that clients receive, while creating a stronger foundation for future growth and visibility.

By combining thoughtful user experience, strategic messaging, and a refined visual design, the website now positions Aged Care Advocate as a trusted partner for families navigating one of life’s most important decisions.
